Fluorogenic DPP7 Assay Kit
Catalog #: 80207
Size: 96 reactions
DESCRIPTION: Dipeptidyl peptidase-7 (DPP7), also known as DPP2, is a serine
aminopeptidase found in quiescent lymphocytes. Inhibition of this enzyme induces
apoptosis, and levels of DPP7 are elevated in many tumors, suggesting that DPP7 may be
involved in a novel pathway for tumor suppression. The Fluorogenic DPP7 Assay Kit is
designed to measure DPP7 activity using purified DPP7 for screening and profiling applications.
It comes in a convenient 96-well format, with purified DPP7 enzyme, DPP substrate, and DPP
assay buffer for 100 enzyme reactions. The key to the Fluorogenic DPP7 Assay Kit is the
specific, fluorogenic substrate. Using this kit, only one simple step on a microtiter plate is
required for DPP7 reactions. The fluorometric substrate is incubated with a sample
containing DPP7 enzyme to produce a fluorophore that can then be measured using a
fluorescence reader.
