Description: 
Human  LOXL4  (GenBank  Accession  No.
NM_032211),  amino-acids  500-end, MW  =
31  kDa,  expressed  in  a  baculovirus-infected
Sf9 cell expression system.

Activity: Enzyme activity  is assayed by an 
AmplexRed/Peroxidase  coupling  method
using  1,5-diaminopentane  as  a  substrate.
Purified LOXL-4 (0.25-1 ng/ul) is  incubated
with  3  mM  1,5-diaminopentane,  0.4  mM
AmplexRed  and  0.2  unit/ul  peroxidase  in
100  μl  of  the  assay  buffer  (1.2M  Urea,  50
mM  borate  pH=8.8)  for  15  min  at  30  oC.
Fluorescence  intensity  is measured  every  7
minute at 530ex/590em.

Application: 
Useful  for  the  study  of  enzyme  kinetics,
screening  inhibitors,  and  selectivity
profiling.

Fomulated in: 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100
mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 20% glycerol and
3 mM DTT.
 
Stability: >6 months at –80°C
