BRD2 (339-459)
Human, recombinant, N-terminal His-tag
Catalog #: 31020![]()
Size: 100 µg
Description: Human Bromodomain containing 2, also
known as BRD2, RING3 or RNF3, amino-acids 339 - 459 (GenBank Accession No. NM_005104) with N-terminal HIS tag, MW = 15.1 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.
Assay Conditions: BRD2 protein (200
ng/μl) is incubated with biotinylated acetylhistone
peptide substrate (Cat. #33000) in
BRD assay buffer (Cat. #33001) in a 10 ul
reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA
(R) GSH acceptor beads (Perkin Elmer) are
added, followed by AlphaScreen(R)
Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (Perkin
Elmer). After 15 minute incubation at RT,
Alphacounts are measured.
Application: Useful for the study of bromodomain
binding assays, screening inhibitors and selectivity
profiling.
Formulated in: 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0,
138 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 0.05% Tween-20,
and 10% glycerol.
Stability: >6 months at -80°C
